Yohji Yamamoto 定位傾向反主流反時尚,所以2020年同 Supreme 嘅聯乘系列令唔少人訝異。要了解箇中原因,可能要由2003年 Y-3 嘅成立同埋2013年 Yohji 首次同 New Era 合作講起,嘗試摸索山本耀司嘅初衷。

同時不得不提嘅一點係,2009年 Yohji Yamamoto 由於負債累累被日本一個私募基金收購大部份股份,品牌方針因此而變更都不足為奇。
